• We advise against using protected groups for commuter destinations such as companies, so that commuters can find carpooling partners at other employers in the surrounding areas. Instead, use a keyword such as your company name in all listings, so that those listings can be easily found.
Create Your Ridesharing Group (No Password Protection, Viewable by Community)
• As with all eRideShare listings, email addresses are not displayed, maintaining privacy.
• Instruct your members to submit standard listings.
• In each listing mention the name of your organization as part of the destination neighborhood or comment field.
• For your group URL, use: www.erideshare.com/carpool.php?search=yourgroupname (for recurring transportation) or www.erideshare.com/travel.php?search=yourgroupname (for events).
• Listings created in this manner will be accessible to the larger eRideShare community, and rideshare connections can be made with them also.
